With over 30 years of dynamic leadership and instructional experience, Jen Owen Cushen brings a rich blend of business acumen, creative energy, and heartfelt mentorship to every learning environment.
Jen spent 10 years as a bank manager, manager/team development coach and facilitator/trainer over bank mergers, equipping her with strong organizational skills and a passion for cultivating individual potential within teams. In parallel, her role as a homeschooling mom of three, including various group class teaching, for over 20 years has grounded her in personalized education, adaptable teaching strategies, and the importance of nurturing the whole student.
A longtime Bible study (Precept) teacher and speaker, Jen has spent two decades guiding adults and youth in meaningful, transformative learning experiences. She has also served extensively as a VBS director, youth leader, and drama teacher, where her gift for communication and performance shines. Her love for the stage led her to direct and act in various productions, earning a Best Actress nomination at the
2018 Monti Awards.
Her multifaceted background gives her a unique ability to connect with students of all ages—encouraging excellence, creativity, and character development in every child.
